i may be taking this out of hand, but i'm slightly concerned about my ds lite's battery. Is it better to recharge the battery after a single play? or is it better to leave it to go flat before recharging?
thanks in advance

Lithium Ion batteries are meant to be recharged whenever it is convienant. They have a 1 to 2 year life expectancy. Memory effect doesn't affect modern rechargeables.
thats the time when they are in use. not just sitting thereLithium Ion batteries are meant to be recharged whenever it is convienant. They have a 1 to 2 year life expectancy. Memory effect doesn't affect modern rechargeables.

the less u charge the better, 'cause the unused battery becomes unusable, and then it "kills" ur battery storing capacity. only charge it when u have played about 20mins after it became red.BrunoBRS
Lithium Ion batteries for the last time are not affected by memory effect. They are meant to be recharged whenever convienant. 1 to 2 years is their life expectancy. They do not last forever. As for the news special do not trust said supposed news special. Lots of news special get the most basic facts wrong.
mine is almost always on charge....before, while and after..........and someone said 1 to 2 year battery life here.....wrong.....500 charges before its starts to die.....i have had mine since april this year and its already about to have to be changed.....serj_tankian05
thats funny, my battery still lasts around 8-10 hours on low light setting (3-5 on higest) and i got it about 1 month after the ds lite came out. And i don't consider meself to have been careful charging it or anything, So maybe i am just lucky.
