couple of ago back I got my 3ds back from the repair center with huge splotches of dust under the screen. I sent it to them again and I got what appears to be a brand new/refurbished one. So far the screen is pretty good, but it has a few grains dust still stuck in their. Thankfully you can only notice them if you hold it under a light.

This isn't noticeable at all during gameplay so I'm not too worried, it could just be my OCD acting up. bBut I'm wondering if it's normal for a 3ds to have a little bit of dust under the screen?

I dont really notice that on mine but my bottom screens film has always had a little of space between the actual screen and it......

I understand you , if nintendo repairs my 3DS I want it to be perfect , because I payed the big price for it , so I would not accept any dust particles in my screen personaly...

Nintendo should send you a brand new 3DS for all your troubles

you should write them a angry letter ... sometimes it works

and risk getting another faulty unit? Nah. Last time they sent it back there were big splotches of dust all around the corners of the screens, so me sending it back to them was justified. This time there's just a few particles that aren't even noticeable unless if you put it under direct light

Sounds mildly annoying. My screen is a little darker/red-er than 2 of my friend's 3DSs, and I have a small black dead pixel on the top screen. Not worth the hassle to send it in, though.

It's normal for any portable, methinks. The dust keeps slipping in and out. My PSP always has some dust under the screen and I don't even worry about it anymore :)

If I think my 3DS is dirty then I just turn on 3D mode. It shows EVERYTHING on the top screen for some odd reason.
