Do rubys and other dimond things have any use or can I just sell them? right now I have a ring that I found... is it ok to sell them or am I supposed to keep them for later?

sell 'em! if it's a needed item for the story progression, it won't let you sell it.

I think you can due to you can't combine it to anything. I love RE4. Replayed it like 4 times. But it really became easy when you buy the unlimited rocket launcher.

lol having an unlimited Rocket Launcher makes everything easier. But seriously with the treasures, you can combine some of them. The treasurs description will tell you if it can be combined with something. If it doesn't say anything like "it looks like something use to be embedded in it" or "it looks like it fits in something" you can sell it. But as you put treasures together they become worth alot more, so if your trying to save up for the Chicago Typewriter or something I would suggest combining treasures. There is also a place to clean dirty treasures and raise thier value, but I don't remember where it was, or maybe I just imagined that lol. But the rest is true.

Some jewels you can sell and aren't needed to be attached with anything else. Try attaching them to anything in your key items. If it doesn't fit with anything sell it.

Sell the rubys and spinels. Under the item info it will usually tell you if the gem was embedded in anything before.

actually about those dirty treasures you mentioned there is a way to not get them dirty in the first place, but to my knowledge no place you can clean them. To not get them dirty you have to shoot the stick that is holding the well open and then shoot the treasure down..

Sell them because you will need to max out your firepower, reloading speed and capcity to make you guns more powerful. Some jewels like Catseyes can be combined with other treasures so you get more when selling them.

anything that looks fancy (such as Cats eyes, the jewels the Navistadors drop in the sewers, and anything that looks like jewelery) will fit into another treasure (Butterfly Lamp, Beer stein, Elegant Mask, the cat statue) So Rubys are ok to sell along with the pocket watches and what not.

Hmmm, I don't remember it having infinite ammo. I don't think you'll need it, it takes alot of space, and I think you could just find one later in the game.

The regular rocket launcher you buy only has one shot, and after that one shot it is permanently gone.

After you complete the game once and load the completed save file and start over you have the ability to buy the infinite rocket launcher for some ungodly amount of money (I forgot the number). Did it anyway though, this game is fun to play again and again.

Sorry but am I understanding you correct...? if I buy the rocket launcher I only get 1 shot and cant get any more bullets for it?

Yeah if you don't buy the infinite rocket launcher you get only shot. If you ever want to afford the infinite rocket launcher, you have to combine your treasures so you can maximize how much your get for selling them. Don't listen to people saying sell everything as soon as you get it because then you will have to play the game a bunch of times to get the money.

Well seeing though there's only one shot in the RL, Im not going to get it as iM just at the beginning of chapeter 3... but is there a certain point in the game where it comes in useful? I might save it for the final battle?

During the Castle chapter of the game (latter part of the middle section of the game) you get a rocket launcher for free --- it's sitting there in the room and you can pick it up. So don't buy one now or you'll have absolutely no room in your attache case. And besides, it's a waste of money since you'll be getting one for free. I saved mine till the final battle and it was useless. The final battle doesn't work like "deal massive damage and the enemy dies". I can't remember exactly but it was basically deal a bit of damage to a bunch of different spots and the rocket launcher was completely useless. Better with your TMP or something. And to finish him off, you have to use a special rocket launcher that's given to you at the end, so it's totally not worth it saving your rocket launcher. I recommend not buying a rocket launcher and when you get the free one during the course of the game, saving it for the battle with the monster who keeps following you around the large metal containers (there are three or four, and you have to unlock the door to get into the next container before the timer goes out and that container drops into the abyss below). Don't use it while you're in the containers. Save it till you get out of the containers and onto dry land. You may be glad you did. Alternately, save it for a particularly difficult sewer battle. You'll know when you get to it. You have to wait for the elevator to come, but you've got company while you wait. Those are the times I'd recommend using it. Either AFTER getting out of the metal containers suspended over the abyss that drop down into the abyss as you make it from one to the other all the way to dry land, or, while waiting for the elevator with one of Salazar's friends. I believe the elevator section comes first. You don't have to kill Salazar's friend (technically you just have to survive till the elevator comes), but it is very recommended you do because you'll get treasure when you do and it's worth a lot when combined.
