LOL a 360 is not worth selling your Wii for IMO. Personally I think you are making a huge mistake, especially if you already have either a PS3 or gaming PC. and IF you do this, I would definitely buy the new slim model of the 360. Personally I got fed up with the horrible hardware that breaks and freezes all the time, but it was the lack of great exclusives that really got me to sell my 360. I want to buy a Wii though :P.
Do we really have to go through this every single week?
Go sell it for practically nothing at Gamestop and wait for the Wii HD that's coming out in two weeks because Pachter said.
Dude this is absolutely THE worst time to sell your Wii. The Wii is about to get an Onslaught of Games and you want something that you may or may not have games for.
but as for Wii selling You'll hardly get anything for the dang thing. Not even enough to buy the 360.
[QUOTE="LCS2008"]250 or 150? You're way off. The Wii is $200 brand new.. what makes you think they'll give him $150 for it? Let alone $250......You will probably get around 250 or 150 for it. but why would you want to sell it?

I would say maybe 50 normally but they do have the $25 extra trade in credit right now on consoles right now (gamestop), so maybe 75ish. could be more like 100 though who knows.
go to gamestsop and ask.

Yep, that's the best advice. I never understood why people ask these kinds of questions when a simple phone call would be a much quicker solution. You want to know what Gamestop is paying for something then (*gasp*) call Gamestop. Seems like a no-brainer to me...

Yea why would you want to sell it? I mean there has been and will be so many great games for the Wii. Now if you sell it you will not be able to play them.:(
You're likely to get the biggest return if you try selling it on ebay. I heard you get peanuts from Gamestop, regardless of the value of the item or how could of condition it's in. Keep in mind that they are looking to re-sell it and make a decent profit on it themselves.
I just got my Wii, and as far as I'm concerned I got it just in time for some great releases. I'd recomend holding on to it for a bit.
Ya, in all honesty if I were to sell my Wii in order to buy another console, it wouldn't be the 360. Every single one of my friends that owns one has been hit with the RRoD within the first couple of years (some more than once), and I personally don't like the idea of always having to send it out for repairs every single time. How a company likeMicrosoft was actually allowed to mass produce and sell such defective hardware is beyond me. If I were to look to buy any other console though, it would definitely be the PS3. Although it's a bit more expensive you're still getting a built in blu-ray, and a more reliableHD console.
please lord just please save up the money and wait to buy the slim when you have it all instead of trading your wii. rule of thumb as a gamer, you should NEVER sell a console.......unless its the atari jaguar or 32X or virtual boy.....something beyond useless like that.slvrraven9
Depends really. If the Wii's gaming experience and it's library isn't really his cup of tea, and he doesn't really see himself playing it much, then there's really not much point in him holding onto it. If he can straight up save the cash to buy a 360, then by all means do so. But if he's just not content with the Wii, and isn't able (or willing) to save up the money for a new console, then he might as well sell it.

Lol, I know what you mean. I was a sega fanboy throughout the 90's, and even though the Saturn was a flop, and the Game Gear didn't go as long as it coudl've, I still couldn't brign myself to sell either of them. I had/have some great games for both that I still enjoyed playing even years after they were discontinued. I was even made a rather generous offer for my Saturn in early 98, and I was gonna use the money to buy a PSX. I just couldn't bring myself to do it though, as I still really loved the console. It worked out though, as a year later I ended up buying my friend's used PSX off of him for like 50$ :D
