Question about the 3DS circle pad and DC games.

Do you automatically have the option to map d-pad controls to the circle pad? For example if I'm playing Metroid Prime Hunters can I use the Circle Pad instead of the d-pad?

DS games automaticly map the D-Pad to the circle pad. you can use both, but there is no way to turn one of the other off, or to change the controls at all.

There isn't really much of an advantage using the circle pad though. It does 'feel' better on some games, like Super Mario 64 DS, but it doesn't offer any more accurate movement and it does not offer the kinds of sensitivity that Super Mario 3D Land would.

It works really well on games with a lot of diagonal movement, too. After playing a few of my DS games on my 3DS, I couldn't go back to using the +Dpad.
