Question about Wii with gamecube games

I am glad that you can save them to your old gamecube card because I had a whole bunch of games saves I did nto want to lose and because the Wii does not have much memory, so I am running out quickly.

Yes, agreeing with 1upMushroom, you only need a memory card to save, not to play.
