Do any of you have the controllers that resemble the item or weapon from the game you are playing (i.e. wii tennis controller, wii zapper, etc)? I just wanted to know if you have to have those to play the games, wii sports is excluded. Like do you have to have the wheel thingy to play mario kart or the gun thing to play house of the dead?

No, no I don't. You don't need them to play the game, but for some it adds to the 'realism'. More power to them, but I didn't get any of that stuff.
all they are (wii wheel and zapper) are plastic molds you slide your wii remote into....pretty much useless. but i got 3 wheels for anyone that wants to play with them at my house.
and mario kart you can use the gamecube controller, classic controller, wii wheel or wiimote and nunchuck to control it, not just the wheel.
thanks that hepled cause i was thinking of getting mario kart but i didn't know if i had to get the wheel to. But i do have a gamecube controller so i'll just use that :D
the mario kart game is still coming with the wii wheel or at least when i got the game new last week it did, and the wheel is fun with it but you don't need it, but most games never need any special accessory's to play the game
I mounted my Wiimote on my .45 and it works great. Such a natural and gritty feel to it. Although I have the hardest time remembering if it's loaded or not. I guess that's what the safety is for ha ha ha:?
The Mario Kart wheel comes with the game. I think it's great and I never play without unless I have to. The zapper is alright, but only on certain games like RE:UC and Ghost Squad.
