ok, my mom can get a wii tomorow. if i didnt have to pay for it i wouldnt be having this discussion. i have a ps3 and enjoy it, but i also want a different experience that the wii gives. people tell me u have to have more than one person playing for the wii to be fun, like only for when friends are over and stuff. is this true? or can i enjoy it by myself and with friends? and please dont say wait til games come out, i want red steel zelda, smooth movies, excite truck, etc.
I only have one controller right now and I enjoy the game. I have played two player bowling which is cool. But games like zelda, trama center, I like playing by my self because they are single player games.
I am really liking trama center and zelda. Red steel was pretty cool although I did not beat it. I had to return it before I got a chance, but I will be renting it again through my gameznflix or gottaplay so I can beat it.
People that think the wii is only good for more than one player are probably biased toward Xbox and Xbox live. I do not have a wii, but I cannot wait to get the wii remote hooked up to my pc. Those games will only be single player, but I will enjoy them. I would think that one player would be better because you do not have to worry about hurting anyone. Multi-player would be fun with people you don't like. [!WAM!] "Oh, I'm sorry." :twisted:
Anyway, you should expect a lot of bias against the wii because it is different. It is also not going to be a "kid" console as most people called the gamecube. I read a nintendo representitive's speech that said that they were going to work hard to take the wii out of the "kid" genre. (Although it will still have kid friendly games.)
You don't need others for the Wii to be fun. There are many games that are single player. The fact that is even better with company makes it a good buy! 8)
nah dude i have all three consoles this gen i cant believe that whoa:| but the wii is definatly my fav just cause of vc, it takes me back soo bad its soo fun to play all those old games as far as new ones, go its fine i mean zelda should keep ya busy so will sonic, red steel,exite truck is insane fun. And i still beleive the best multiplayer exp is when you have some1 next to you not half way across the the dam world arrrg HACKS!!!!
