Well, my dad said that the downloadable games can be transferred to the DS :? He swore that he'd read it.
Is this true ? I doubt it

I'm confused. What is Wii Ware and why is there a DS demo channel on the Wii and no "Wii demo" channel?nelfer320
Wii ware is coming out march next year. and there will be games that you can download for wii points. (not the virtual consle actual games.) and they will be around 1000 wii points. And also nintendo announced that we can download ds demos and put them on our ds. and i dont know why there is no wii demo channel

New, low key games that you'll be able to purchase and download off of the Shop Channel.

I suspect storage is the issue. There isn't enough internal space for demos, and currently the HW doesn't allow games to be played off of SD cards.
With the DS however, this isn't as much of an issue. Most of the system's games aren't that big to begin with, so fitting a demo into the system's RAM isn't a problem.
The wii stuff is videos of wii games ala Metroid Prime 3 channel.
Demos for console games are often quite bad and can kill off a lot of game sales on a game that is actually quite good.
As one who has played hundreds of pc game demos I can attest that 90% of demos do not give an adequte portrayel of the game either the demo is buggy compared to the final game or the demo doesn't sell the game. A lot of xbox 360 users admit to only having the demos of the game and refuse to buy the full version because the demo is all they need.
Most ds game demos are just a tutorial. People that want wii demos have no idea how game demos are made and why the vast majority of companies rightly refuse to make demos of their games. These games btw are often considered triple aaa games.
