Ive been connsidering picking it up but just have a few questions

1. Is the game harder then the riginal ps1 version even on easy?

2. Can you use the GC remote?

3. Is it long?

1. is the same game 2. yes 3. your 1st time exploring all would take you easily @15hours or more. after you know how to do every puzzle and know your way around and kill all enemies the game can be done in 5hours. But imo, if you like horror and you like old-school RE series... you would LOVE this one. is easily the BEST on the series. And if you have no play this one this remake give you a nice change (the used version of the GC is harder to find and you`ll just save like 10US$) enjoy, hope taht helps

yeap... this game is just a way to make the GC version available (bc that one was out of print) considering that this remake is the best of the serie. Is teh same exact game, with the same exact controllers, same graphics, same diffciculty... in a few words the same game now available. That is why do you own the GC one? DO NOT buy this. If you do not then go to the store, run if you like horror survival.. :P btw: here some quote so you are sure as well.... From IGN review:
This is true despite the fact that you can play the game using a number of different control methods -- standard Wii remote on its side, classic controller or even GameCube pad, the latter being preferable to all others since remake was developed to maximize Nintendo's previous peripheral.

OK, thanks chang_1910!! I plan to get the RE Zero adaptation, it's the best of the "classic gameplay" resident evil in my opinion.

:) my pleasure... oh yea, zero is also great (i do admit I love them all, exc nemesis, That one I just liked it :lol: ) Zero is good, but for me horror/survival wise REmake is the best. The part of the empty hallway with the metal floor where you can just hear your step and then...... is just priceless... and like that one so many others scene... :P enjoy.... see you around

Just so you know, this isn't the same game as the PS1 version. About 70 is different, and it's significantly more challenging thanks to the new enemies and bosses.

I have been playing Resident Evil Archives Wii version, I met up with Richard (who needs me to get him serum) and I go back to the circled drug room on the map with the bed (also a save room and storage box), but when I try to get some serum, it just keeps saying many different serums are available in colors. And their is no option to take serum at all, any one, help me, please. Did I miss something? Not sure why there is no serum in the drug room.
