2. Where do u live?(don't thinkpokemon is as popular over here inthe uk)

3. Should i get pokemon platinum or wait for gold and silver?

Go for platinum.

I'm thinking it's going to be a while until silver/gold come out seeing as how they were only just announced. Even if you want to get gold/silver you can easily save 30 dollars, or whatever your currency, to buy it....

1. I'm fourteen. I can't say I'm nearly and Pokemon obsessed as I was when I was eight but I still enjoy it nevertheless.

2. I live in the U.S. People are pretty fanatic here. >.> And everyone knows the Pokemon theme song.

3. Wait for Gold and Silver if you already have Diamond or Pearl. If you don't, then get Platinum for the wait.

Get both, unless you have little money, then get Platinum, unless you've played Diamond/Pearl

3. If you don't have D/P get Platinum and wait for G/S. If you do have D/P get Platinum anyways because it's a better game (optional). IF you are a fan then get both. ;)

Get both if you can find both for a reasonable price or get Platinum or all three while waiting for the remakes. Also try to get any of the older ones, can never have enough Pokemon really.

3. I say if you can get both because like said above ^ they both have different stories. It will be awhile for HG and SS to be here so I'd get platinum to scratch that pokemon itch for now.
