"Reader Enbob has gone through a massive amount of work to come to the conclusion that a one-time Xbox title 'The Kore Gang' is heading to the Wii. While we don't have an official confirmation, I think he information provided definitely points in the direction of the Wii. Enbob did such a fantastic job with his detective work, I've included the body of his email below."

Looks like it's got good art direction (if this actually is the same game). Here's the trailer, for those who are lazy.

That game reminds me a lot of Jet Force Gemini for the N64. Except The Kore Gang is a lot more cartoony, and i don't like cartoony games. So i guess you could say i don't care so much for this piece of information.

Looks like a platform game that attempted to ride on the back of other great platform games, but ultimately never saw the light of day. I half like the art style of the game in the trailer, but Im not completely sold on it... or the characters, for that matter. They just dont seem quirky enough.

Plus, if this is coming to the Wii, then I want a graphical overhaul and decent Wiimote functionality or none at all. Im willing to take a risk on platformers, because I love the genre, but I am apprehensive with this one :P

More info.

"KORE", formerly known as "The Kore Gang", is based on an original concept created by swedish studio ZOINK Games. ZOINK had originally partnered with game development house UDS to produce the game for Xbox. After UDS went out of business, the project was taken back to the drawing board.

In 2007, ZOINK partnered with game developer SnapDragon Games to bring the game to Nintendo Wii. In the process, the game was redesigned, many new features added, and the visuals overhauled to create an experience that will take
platforming on the Wii to the next level.

Press release. That is great news. Another game to check out.:D And I love platformers.:D

Here's another game to keep an eye out for...or at least I will. I like its art direction and based on the trailer and premise I like that this game isn't trying to be a Mario clone.

Three freaky characters, a boy, a girl, and a dogtrailer

RIIIIIIIIIGHT

This game looked good enough to ship, and would actually have beat Psychonauts to the proverbial punch. So maybe we have MS to thank for not releasing it, as then Majesco might never have given us such a wonderful game.

Really, I hope they finish it up, fine tune the graphics (aka take out the Ratchet and Clank ledges they borrowed) and ship it out some time other than Christmas. I would love to see awesome platforming return to a Nintendo, it's been far too long since they left...

Looks promising. There's some gameplay vids of the canned xbox version and creator interview on youtube. Sorry, can't link them. I'm on the Wii.=/

Yeah. Some characters look really Oddworld, to me.

Also, this game is exactly what would have happened if Tim Burton had played Tail Concerto. Exactly.
