*Rant* Games that NEED to be on Virtual Console!

I'm a little perplexed why so many classics are missing.

Here we have VC consisting of multiple systems, with so many classics on each, and they could be making so much more dough lol.

Here's my major wants :(

-Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (although I doubt we'll get it since it was a PS game, but xbox got it)

-Castlevania Bloodlines (we have access to sega titles..dubya tee ef, I'm just happy we got Rondo at least)

It's a shame they won't go back and put gameboy emulation into the VC to play games predating the DS. I have old games like Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Seasons, castlevania: circle of the moon and harmony of dissonance etc., but there's still so many epic series of games like Metroid that could be put up onto VC that even long time fans may have missed over time.

Sure we can download emulators to play old games like Link's Awakening, Metroid 2 etc., but it'd sure be nice playing it on a TV.

If only they included full catalogues of popular game series like Zelda/Metroid/Castlevania with small file size games including gameboy, they could have all our money :P

Eh to be honest assuming they don't add in new consoles (such as Gameboy or Saturn games), as long as I get Yoshi's Island and Harvest Moon 64 before they stop updating the service I'll be pretty content.

Edit: And Lufia and Earthbound.

We won't get the Banjo Games, Perfect Dark, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Turok or GoldenEye because Ninty doesn't own the rights to Rare Games or James Bond.

We could get Rayman, GEX. Resident Evil 2 got remade for the Gamecube, you can buy that very cheap.

I doubt we get a Batman game unless DC Comics allows it.

It kind of sucks that we cant get old license games, I would love to get Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, Chip and Dale and Batman: Return of the Joker. I don't know what the hold up is with DK64. Sepewrath

Hopefully they're saving it to release it before an actual 3d Donkey Kong Platformer for the Wii comes. Sort of like how they saved Smash Bros 64.

I think they're waiting for the virtual console's next Anniversary or some BS like what they did with Majora's Mask.

Anyway, that was my "game that needs to be on the VC".

The SNES Fire Embelm games. They have japanese imports, so dammit Nintendo, release these games on the VC at once!

Final Fantasy III (NES) - The DS version was meh, I actually much prefer the original NES FFIII to the DS version. I actually did get to play it, yes...

Castlevania Bloodlines. I never owned a Genesis and love Castlevania, so this would be great!

StarCraft 64 Star Wars N64 games (Battle for Naboo, Rogue Squadron, Shadows of the Empire, Episode I: Racer) If Marvel will allow it, Spider-Man and Venom: Maximum Carnage. Granted, I have the N64 cartridges to three of the four Star Wars games, but it's gotta be worth it.nintendoboy16

I've always wanted to try the old Earthbound and Fire Emblem games...

But if there was a specific game I wanted on the VC it would be Michael Jackson's Moonwalker from the SEGA Genesis. My Uncle owned the game when I was about 4 or 5 and I loved it. Then a few years later I learned he sold both the Genesis and MJ's Moonwalker. I've wanted to play the game ever since, but it alone is 50$ on Ebay.

Activision currently owns the bond games license so they dont need rare

I want DK 64, like many have already said. I also would like them to translate the old Fire Emblem games and release them here.

And did they put Final Fantasy 6 on there yet? haven't checked it in a while.... If not that needs to be added there too.

more mega man, classic genesis games(xmen games too), Game Boy games would make sense considering there is no current gen system playing it. I'd love Saturn and Dreamcast games too.

I feel like the 3 most wanted VC games are Earthbound, Yoshi's Island and DK64. I doubt we'll see Earthbound :/

My most wanted VC game is still Lufia II. Sunset Riders, Aladdin, Archon and the old TMNT arcade games would be great too, for sentimental value.
