Now that the Wii is practically at the end of its run with all that is even being released for it now are bad Disney games, I wanted to see what games would be considered rare on this console.  Add whatever you like!

Rare games I have:

Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn

The Last Story

Xenoblade Chronicles

Metroid Prime: Trilogy

Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World

Little King's Story

Dokopan Kingdom

Klonoa

Opoona

Zack & Wiki

Rare games I heard of:

Pandora's Tower

A Boy and his Blob

Fragile Dreams

King of Fighters

Metal Slug Anthology

Dewy's Adventure

One Piece: Unlimited Adventure

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3

Super Mario All-Stars

Walk It Out (looks horrible to me but popular opinion says good and rare)

For some reason I think discussing rare games publicly could make them more rare.

I'm surprised that Fire Emblem fetches some high prices on ebay.

I have that but was not sure if it would be considered rare or not, it might be getting there though.

Yes Fire Emblem games usually jump in price after a few years so getting it while you can is a good idea.

I wouldn't call AC: City Folk rare but it is selling for about $30+ while it retails for about $20 as a Nintendo Select game.

Rarity isn't really a thing with the internet around these days. If you're determination of rarity is price then The Last Story isn't rare and neither is Tatsunoko vs Capcom.

Not everything can be Xenoblade Chronicles and Metroid Prime: Trilogy expensive. Haha, rare as in hard to find or will become valuable in a few years.

Super Mario All-Stars, Pandora's Tower, Tales of Symhonia, Xenoblade, and The Last Story are all for sale at my local gamestop. Should I pick any of these up, they didn't lok to promising plus Xenoblade is $90

Depends on you.  I only collect rare games I would actually want.  Super Mario All-Stars is just a collection of early Mario games so I passed but see if you want them.  Pandora's Tower is good, not spectacular but like The Last Story (great game) and Xenoblade they are the Operation Rainfall games so should go up in value.  Xenoblade Chronicles is $80 if you are a member at Gamestop and is a fantastic game, really addicting and you will get over 200 hours out of it if you do side quests and honestly I doubt the demand will lower for the price to go down so if you want it get it now but even if the price went down I would not regret my decision to buy it that much.  I took a risk and am happy regardless.   As for Tales of Symphonia, did you play the Gamecube one?  If not then maybe just get the PS3 HD collection.

It's hard to determine what will become valuable and what will become a cult classic and have a surge in price years down the road, case in point Dot.Hack// games. They're fairly mediocre but have a cult following and the 4th with hit $100. At the same time you could guess Xenoblade would become a collector's item when it had GameStop exclusivity and was a limited release with no interest from Nintendo. If you want some neat games that no one talks about I suppose you should try Lost in Shadow or Dewy's Adventure or A Boy and His Blob.

Xenoblade and Last Story would be the only rare ones unless you were listing off your entire collection.

It's not hard to find Xenoblade Chronicles.  It's just expensive.

Admittedly, I have seen the price drop for the game over the past few weeks so GameStop's reprint is actually working in my favor.  The cheapest one on Ebay is $70 so the price is going down. ;)

If they did a reprint that is.  They might have just taken all the leftover games and horde them for a year the spread them across the Gamestops at an inflated price.

That's a really good list. Strangely, Fire Emblem games always fluctuate in price with time, which is why if you guys ever see a Fire Emblem, and you love the series. Just buy it now, so you don't end up spending like $100 in the future lol.

Lol yeah man xD. I learned that the hard way after I finished Awakening and got hooked on the series. I was all like, hmmm, I wanna try out the Fire Emblem games with Ike in it... and then lo and behold... the asking price was like over 70 dollars for each of the games :P

IDK why BT3 costs so much on Amazon. It sold nearly 2 million IRCC. I should've kept my copy.

Perhaps the Wii version did not sell well?
