well, i was bored and i started to do my own mock-up of the REV. game cases, in this case the header. i used the same FE art because randome pictures w/ Photoshop text looks fugly :P:P



what do you think? i think it goes w/ Nintendo´s sleek aproach. BUT I NEED AN OFFICIAL LOGO!! YOU HEAR ME NINTENDO?!? :twisted:. i had to combine the GCN and old REV. logo. i dont like the black text very much but, since there´s not official logo yet. and GS resizes the pic, nothing is fuzzy ;)

rate it and enjoy! :D:D

EDIT: the header is smaller now.
EDIT 2: the box is different now. and how did this topic came back? :P

probably because GS resize the pic. open it in a new window, the pic is huge.

the console itself is a bit plain, that was the idea. and the header is 3cm like the GCN. but no, i dont mind, go ahead :).

you need to make the top section alot smaller, it looks to big for just the nintendo revolution display name.  the "only for" part is ugly too.

wow, that´s great :D hats off to you, sir. i´ll paste it and see how it looks.

This is probably one of the best I've seen. Everyone tries to make it "cool" and overcrowd it with useless stuff. Although I think that even your's is a bit complicated (the "shiny" effect on the white is ugly, IMHO), you're on the right track.

This i must say, is very very cool. I doubt nintendo would do a header like that, only because it would be hard to copy onto every single titile...  idk, but it does look good.

Idk, the white-on-white is pretty hard to read, especially with the designs behind it. If you saw a shelf of games with that header on them, you probably wouldn't be able to recognize what system it's for without picking one up and looking more closely. It is cool though. My only other gripe would be the overly cluttered layout of the SSB boxart.

Great work everyone with the box art - especially the SSBR art! Congrats. (IMO the Black header is a bit more stylish and readable than the white).

i kinda think using the top from the SSBR one would be better. I think nintendo will make it look like the SSB to attract attention

I love the blue light as the divider beetween the header and the box art.  I hope Nintendo makes the header's background black though...

omg i just looked through this entire thread and everyones like OMG GREAT BOXART, when all the people did was find boxart on google image search and put it here.  they didn't actually make any of it except maybe the first guy who threw a couple things together.

I really like the idea of having the blue light as the separator... I really hate that WiFi connection logo... It looks so boring... Nintendo should change it... I'd give it 9/10

I agree. I whipped it up to see if the awesome looking header on the SSB boxart would look good with other games. I guess it doesn't.
