Hey guys so i am done with my exams and i want to treat myself, and i was thinking picking up rock band expansion pack song cd, but the problem is that i dont have rock band yet...will my guitar hero controler work with it? or do i need some sort of rb guitar or data? thanks a lot
I'm uncertain whether the Guitar Hero peripherals will work with the Track Pack 2, but I'm already aware that the AD/DC trackpack supports the GH guitar, though not the drums. That was released around the same time, so I would presume so, especially after taking a look through the forum for that game.(not much, but someone there seemed to confirm it)
So in short, most likely the GH guitar will work with the game.
Your best move would be to spend the $50 and buy RB2. You GH guitar will work with that. Plus, you have access to DLC which will eventually include all the track pack songs, except the AC/DC songs.
