will Resident Evil 5 come out for wii if it does do you think you will have the same gameplay on it as the 360 and ps3?

It would be dumb on Capcom's part if RE5 didn't make it to the Wii.

Resident Evil 4 on Gamecube, and the remake on Wii sold in the millions.... both times. I still don't know why people bought it again, but that's just my opinion.

Financially, it would be a smart investment. Take the HDR out, the HD, and this game may make it to he Wii in pretty decent shape.

I don't think RE5 will come to the Wii. But if Capcom sees that the Wii will make them some more money I bet they might come out with another completly original RE game that's not on rails like RE:UC.

imho.... capcom would bring a RE eventually to the Wii (they love switching consoles) but it would not be RE5...

i would like for RE5 to come to the wii, but i know it will be inferior to the ps3 and 360 versions. i would rather wait for RE5 to come out for Nintendo's next system, by then it wil be capable of handling the game by then. In place, i think Capcom should give us another brand new resident evil game!!!!!:D

Yeah if they don't bring RE5 to Wii they'll most likely make another spinoff like Umbrella Chronicles. Hopefully the next exclusive Wii RE game will have more effort put into it, Umbrella Chronicles lacked a bit imo.

they would not wait that long for a new game on nintendo.. (imho) But bringing to the Wii RE5 would be hard and a bit silly (downgrade graphics would not be a good idea, unless they do a freaking great control scheme) Do not worry, imho (Again) Capcom would bring a new RE game to N, eventually..

yea... I think (and hope) that the next N RE game would be a full survivla/horror game. Thus i may add that I loved RE:UC, I was expecting a face pace rail-on with great flashbacks and stories to add to the RE archive and that was want i got. :) :oops:

Anyway.. yea... getting downgrade with graphics would be hard and unpractical. the only way I see this comming is if teh game sell really bad. which I doubt bc is on 360 and on ps3 which is selling pretty good now (i`m getting one during fall, :oops: yea...i`m excited :P ) And even if this happen (again really really unlikely) it would be a surprise a port to the wii.

you really think this whole discussion is about people caring about business decisions capcom make? this is about wii owners wanting re5, wii owners that don't own ps3/xbox360's. im sure 100% of dudes that own a ps3/xbox360 and a wii are not asking if re5 will be on wii.

partly right.. I do not own a ps3 (thus i will soon enought) and I`m not asking for RE5, nor a couple of others I have seen a thread about in here, to be on Wii. Actually the reason why I`m getting a ps3 is bc I know that games like RE5, SH5, GoW3 (bad example bc i think tis one is from sony) would not come to Wii. They may, may do a RE on Wiiin the future, but it would not be RE5 (imho) Thinkking that this game would be release on the wii is getting false hopes to high or to let you carry on to far, imo.

think that the thing here is that some wii owners for some reason wants all games in Nintendo console (e.g all the halo moment, or was that for DS, but oh well same issue) Some games would not come to Wii, as some would not come to ps3/360.

There would be no downscaling of graphics, it would not be a port of the PS3/360 versions. It would be a seperately developed version like many multiplat Wii games, however it would probaly mean the Wii version would come out much later than the other versions. The promise of large sells is all that matters nothing else, especially for a company like capcom who has proven this in the past. The RE series is doing quite well on the Wii, over 2 million sells in less than a full year. Do you really think that it will simply end with UC, of course they will bring more RE to the Wii, whether that be RE5 or something else, regardless we will get more.
