im just wonderin... with re4 coming out on the gamecube and being the best version why isnt it being like an exclusive or something for the wii??... and then it can come out for the 360 and ps3 later... is it because of nintendos new "casual" look or something?polishkid99

Actually the Wii version is the best: Gamecube graphics + the exclusive content from the PS2 version = WIN!

A watered down port would be awful. The Wii isn't as powerful as the 360/PS3 you know...

that would be pretty damn nice, maybe expand the story a little more in terms of gameplay. But that would be the right choice

i have a ps3 look at my sig -,-.... but i picked up the gc re4 version and it was awesome... i didnt like the ps2 one..

For me, it can be nice even with Resident Evil 4-like graphics, but this game is all about immersion and atmosphere, so this game really needs good graphics to be good.:|

If you own a PS3, why don't you get that instead of wanting a dumbed down Wii version? You do realize the PS3 is at least 10 times more powerful than the Wii right?

no. enemy A.I ,framerate, number of enemies on screen, atmosphere, ect affect the game even more

and its not easy to just tone down graphics. Its like if ur in the middle of a very realistic family portrait and then the family is like....oh thats nice but we wanted more of a cartoon style you would then have to start over.

Plus i want another classic style Resident Evil. The other ones were a lot scarier and it wasnt just shooting zombies....actuall there wanst much Zombie shooting at all i miss the puzzles and looking for the keys examining items

It didnt work out so badly for the PS2 getting RE4. What I think will happen is maybe a year after the release of RE5 it will be ported to the Wii. Capcom knows the game will go platinum on the Wii so they'll bring it eventually right now they are just captalizing on the Wii with RE4, REUC, and soon Dead Rising.

Yeah, but the difference between the GC and PS2 isn't as big as the one between the Wii and PS3/360.

man this is like all the 360 kids wanting MGS4....it's most likely not going to happen......sadly.....the wii isn't a serious system when it comes to third party sequals.......we'll just have to deal with another UMBRELLA CHRONICLES or something along those lines....::sigh::
