I just got the game today. I don't know why but it seems harder and it hurts my eyes. Also using the analog stick to view a certain part of the screen while using the pointer to aim at people--seems odd. Suppose if you want to look upwards at some enemies on a ledge or roof--you hold down B and use the control stick to look up, you keep the view there and use the pointer to aim and shoot. Yes, I know this is supposed to be easy and it certainly sounds easy, but I guess sometimes I just want the pointer to move the view a little so that I can get an enemy that's partially in screen without needing to use the analog to stick to get that enemy in view. That's exactly it! When holding B to go into aim mode--thecontrol stick is too sensitive! If you have gripes about a first person game for the Wii and thepointer being to sensitive when trying to view over--you would prefer that over the controlstick. The screen moves waaay to much when using the analog stick to view.
In all honesty you have to try it for yourself to understand. If anyone is reading this and saying 'Oh he doesn't know what he's talking about--he sucks', please so don't say that without playing this game first.
I hate to so say this, but I had an easier time learning Medal of Honor's aim and control scheme. The only gripes I had against MoH is that clear shots don't land properly and graphics--otherwise it would've been a decent game. I haven't played RE4 Wii that much...so I still need to get use to it. Now that I recall--I initially had trouble with the analog controls on theGC version as well, but got better and enjoyed it more as I progressed--maybe the same will happen again. Here's to hoping. Just tolet you all know I haven't given up on this game...since any Wii game takes time. I just want you all to know what to expect when you first play.
