RE4 Wii, less violent?

It seems that Capcom iron out the gore in RE4: Wii edition =(

This time, according to this movie, Leon will keep his head on his shoulders even after a confrontation with the chainsaw dude. Anyone else notice other differences or changes in violence? I would hate to see that they've changed "You are dead" to "You are asleep".

Honestly, you're about the 20th person to post this. The lack of violence is because of the Japanese version has restrained gore. RE4 has ALWAYS been like that. NA should have the regular amounts. Please, why do people keep posting these things?!jmangafan

Thats the japanese version. Watch On The Spot.. They were asked that question and showed clips of shooting zombies heads off, and also, leon losing his head via chainsaw.. so dont worry.. violence is still there =DHaziqonfire

ya that's just the Japanese version. If anything the american wii version will be MORE violent because of the motion controls (stabbing motions, etc.)snowman6251

Go watch last weeks On the Spot episode. They play RE4 for the Wii at about 15:44 for a minute, and answer that specific question with a graphic demo of the violence and gore.
