how old are you? resident evil 4 isnt even that bad wow you shoot someone they bleed, oh no. The worst thing is the chainsaw decapitation and that only happens the very rarely. saying you dont want a game because its gory isn't a very good reason. theres far worse then re4.

As it should be--Capcom is just trying to milk their baby even more to up their cash flow. Why would anyone be happy about this announcement? Don't get me wrong--I loved RE4--One of my most beloved gaming experiences...but a Wiimake of a 2 year old game is just ridiculous. Moreover--Capcom's original Wii RE project being a light gun game treading over old RE lore...I'm rather disappointed...
But to me it seems like this is in the works just to make some quick money. It's a port of a 2-year-old game. These quick ports for easy dough games are getting dumb now.
I loved the laser sight aiming to death. That would suck to have this aiming reticle moving around when now having that made the original better. I don't buy it. I don't see what's so exciting.
This is great news for me, since I never played any other version, but wouldn't want to pay the full price of a game I could buy for a last gen system for dirt cheap.

but my biggest question what is true widescreen support? RE4 if i recall correctly was only in widescreen so what is true widescreen that crappy 2:35:1 format? aka superman widescreen? xmen 3 widescreen? those uber widescreen formats? if so thats reason enough NOT to get the game as any widescreen above 16:9 is complete overkill and reminds me of my old 15 inch tvs to play the nes and atari on back in the day
perhaps if this has multiplayer a few more levels plus the ps2 content and maybe a few more extras or a co-op mode plus standard/Gamecube control support this would be worth it and everybody including current owners would want it. as it stands now i cant say theres a reason to get this game but of course if widescreen means uber widescreen like i just talked about then the game wont be worth it anyway.
