Indeed, Diamond / Pearl will last you a while. As far as other addictive titles, there are three puzzlers out there that come to mind; Picross DS, Puzzle Quest, and Meteos. And a few people, myself included, found it very hard to put down either of the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon dungeon-crawlers available on the DS. Clubhouse Games can be a ton of fun and quite addictive as well.
I suggest Contra 4 or Tetris DS. I just picked up Contra 4 and its hard to put it down. Its VERY fun and addicting, and the replay value is insane. Tetris DS is very fun on WiFi and also addicting
