So with all of my favorite Nintendo games out or coming out (Mario Kart 8, Super Smash, Star Fox) and new franchises that look very tempting (Splatoon), are there any great deals for the Wii U coming this holiday season? And if so, which model should I get the 8GB or 32GB? At the most, I probably will get ten games, in total, before this era is over.

I can't find any holiday deals. Nintendo has their bundles for $300 then plus tax they come out to around $318 depending on where you live. Amazon was the best bet a week ago since you could buy the wiiu luigi bundle for $300 with no tax and no shipping, but that price has recently risen. Monitor amazon and check to see if their prices go down once they get more stock it should be $300 again.

I'd recommend going for the 32gb (I think the regular retail price on that is $300 and it comes with a game); the 8gbs on the basic model doesn't go very far.

Oh yea, I didn't even notice that you asked about the gigs. definitely get the 32. I don't even think they sell the 8 anymore.

Take the chance on Wii U see if you like it. now is the time since there are 2 years worth of Games out for the Wii U. Go for the 32GB model which you can get refurbished from Nintendo directly for $200.00 which is the best deal. Since you still get everything that was included with the Wii U when it launched for $350.00

Don't bother with the 8GB model since after the on-line update there is only 3GB of memory available left. The 8GB Basic set is no longer being manufactured.

It is best to get an external HDD 2TB if you plan on buying lots of downloadable games off the Nintendo eShop. since 32GB flash memory is not very much either.
