Listen to me...Buy Sanyo "eneloop" rechargeable batteries. They are the best rechargeable batteries on the market. Look them up on amazon and read for yourself.

Again...look them up on amazon and read for yourself.

Hmmm I might buy these. Which ones did you get?
I got the charger with 4 AA batteries, and an additional 4 pack. That's enough for two wiimotes, my wireless sensor bar, and my wavebird. I might buy another 4 pack if the wireless nunchuk uses AAs.
Yah, I have Energizer rechargeable batteries and they work great... and yah, stay away from wii charging stations; they cost just as much if not more and only serve for one purpose.I prefer Energizer others prefer Duracell
As long as they're rated 2500 or higher you're good
Stay away from Wiimote chargers, they're not worth it on any level.

What does 2500 mean?
Think of it as a power rating.
Batteries rated at 2500 will last much much longer then batteries rated 1200
Hey, I was wondering the exact same thing. I guess I will go with a rechargeable battery instead of the charger.
I did some research on the eneloop, looks interesting. Do u guys think it would work better with the eneloop charger?
I think the advantage of the eneloop batteries are they last longer on the shelf once charged. Using them in the Wiimote so often I don't see that coming into play.JaysonguyThat's my opinion as well. Plus the Eneloop AA batteries seem to be limited to 2000mAh. That's still better than the silly Nyko charge station's battery packs, of course. I think the highest capacity you can get is best, since the Wiimote is an often-used device. I purchased a 10 slot smart charger that came with 10 2500mAh AA cells. The charger will do AAA cells as well, which I may be ordering soon (for a wireless keyboard I use). These came from an online store that specializes in rechargeable batteries and I think the price was quite good. My brother and I are currently using these to keep all of our Wii and indoor mini helicopter remotes always at the ready. :D
