well, gamespot rates cod3 the best. i am trying to beat it at the moment, & it is pretty fun. i haven't played the others but i'm sure cod3 is the best choice.
Red Steel>COD3>MOH:V in my opinion. red steel has a solid single player experience and their is some fun to be had with the multiplayer. the only real problem with it is that the controls take a bit to get use to. COD3 has a great single player and the controls are well done, and is the most fun IMO, but it has no muliplayer or splitscreen. MOH:V is good but not great.
COD3 has the best control scheme, but worse graphics of the bunch, and no multiplayer.

'eh, I found Red Steel had the worst graphics (not to mention the framerate), even though it did have some variety to their locations....

Anyhow, for me, COD3 has to be the best FPS of the three, tight controls that kick the crap out of the dual-analog setup, lots of action and crap going on, and well paced. Problem is that there's no real reason to play through the game again once you've beaten it, since the single-player mode is all there is in the package.
cod 3 is pretty cool, i wanted to get vanguard, but i just borrowed cod3 from my friend. i could also borrow red steel from my other friend too, now that i think about it..
