Reggie on GTA Wii

I would prefer a new IP too, but I don't see how GTA needs power, considering it's 3d iterations debuted on the PS2. Unless GTA4 is going to be 4D, that's something only Sony can deliver.

well regardless of wheather we get gta or not we'll always have godfather which I hear is very similar....stickontheradar

No way would GTA 4 come to the Wii. It's being developed for PS3/360 and they would just have to take so much out for it to even run on the Wii. They aren't going to make a GTA exclusive for the Wii so that leaves porting the PSP games or last generations trilogy with Wii controls. Any one of those options aren't looking too good to me. I will keep an open mind but I think the chances of a GTA game on the Wii are slim to none.jsd360

Instead of an inferior port of a GTA and if Ninty would allow the use of their characters I'd like tp see a fresh take on the GTA series with GTA: Mushroom Kingdom. LINKloco

You people are missing the point. It doesn't matter if you like or dislike GTA. The fact of the matter is, GTA is the top selling franchise of the last 5 years, by far. Having that on the Wii takes away a major reason many people wouldn't even consider buying a Wii (namely, that they know the next iteration of their favorite series wouldn't be coming to the Wii). theragu40

I doubt that it will. Personally i couldnt care if it comes. I cant see nintendo promoting such a game at all.jonzilla_basic

You cant see them promoting this game?? They are promoting Manhunt 2 which is far more graphic, GTA is like a stroll in the park in comparison

Games like Gta will make the Wii a success and bring a lot more attention to the console. You dont have to buy the game!

I have never played a GTA game before but if it comes out on the Wii, I might get it. But this seems really unlikely.

This news are kinda old but if TAKE TWO brings any GTA to WII many people will buy, if this is true, one less game for the wii on my list! IM GONNA BUY IT.
