is there any way to know how long my remaining battery life is? the indicator in the ds menu is just always green or red, i think.i've been trying to figure it out but it seems to indicate just the same as the led light.

i just hate it when it suddenly turns red and there's no more time to charge it because we're leaving already or something.

hmmm some ppl play their ds at home while it is charging, then they remove when they will go out or something like that.

isnt it bad if u dont charge it fullyand remove it all the time...i heard that the battery would die faster..

no no

lithium- ion batteries don't have the memory effect in nickel batteries

and according to studies, it's even better if u charge the battery little by little than draining it and charging it.

deeper charging causes more strain on the battery

check wiki for lithium ion batteries

here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lithium_ion_battery

i hope i helped

i know it sucks that it only indicates green and red,,,it wouldnt kill nintendo to at least put some Orange color indcator is half way dead...but i always check it when closed. if its red and turns green while closed it still have some juice for like 40 min. if its red and still indicates red while beeing in sleep mode...SAVE THE GAME AT ALL COSTS!!!
