I would like to see as remakes
Killer Instinct (N64)
Shadows of the Empire fun game and I could see 3D as well as improved graphics, more weapons and maybe ships.
Turok and Turok II: 3D and improved graphics would totally refresh these games
Legend of Zelda Oracle of Ages, Oracles of Seasons, and there was supposed to be three games
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Legend_of_Zelda#Cancelled_games (link) go to the Cancelled games section and it talks about the three games in question GS is not letting me copy and paste.
so it would be nice to finally have the third game as well.
As ports
Diablo II
Well these are the only games I am interested or can think of at the moment.
Final Fantasy IX andPokemon Ruby/Sapphire!
Pixel-Perfect
I knew it! i knew someone would say that!
>_>
I don't think it needs more remakes.

Oh no... :P
I would love to see a Ruby/Sapphire remake. It's obvious that there will be one. Pokemon is mostly remakes. Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, and Platinum are all remakes. Lazy remakes, but still remakes. FireRed/LeafGreen and HeartGold/SoulSilver are remakes of decade old pokemon games. They all sold extremely well. No need for GameFreak to stop. Gray is expected and Ruby/Sapphire remakes are expected. You don't think the trend will continue and that's fine, but please don't start another pointless argument on why you think there will not be any remakes. You already made 2 in the past and they didn't lead to anything.
Only time will tell on who's right or wrong. Simple as that.

What? :S
i was only replying,i never started an arguement.
But now that you mention it....!!!!
Nah,i'll let this one slide.
:) haha.
Goemon 64
I don't want to see pointless remakes, but its always nice to have ones that make sense and revive hard to find games. I would love to see an all new Baten Kaitos rather than a remake. If they made a new one, I wouldn't even be contemplating when to get the 3DS, I would run out to buy one right now!
Majora's Mask is the only other one I want. The one I was begging for the most is happening with Monster Hunter 3G. Really hope it and 4 make it to the states.
I'd prefer new games to remakes, saying that though if I had to choose games to be remade for it I'd choose:
That would be cool. I really would like Red and Blue on the e-Shop.How about we just get Pokemon Stadium and Pokemon R/B/Y via the eshop.
Not remkaes, but perhaps just re-released.

[QUOTE="pacific90"]That would be cool. I really would like Red and Blue on the e-Shop. But would you be able to save when playing R/B/Y? I mean, isn't it true that the Ambassador games didn't have a save feature? How about we just get Pokemon Stadium and Pokemon R/B/Y via the eshop.

Of course.
You cannot save in the NES Ambassador games because they were rushed NES ports. NES games barely had a save feature (most had passwords). Pokemon had saves from the start.

007 goldeneye. The old version with not that much added to is as far as gameplay. Execpt online play. Also better graphics and of coarse 3D. Maybe majoiras mask...But I really hope they tone down the n64 remakes. At least remake paper mario ttyd. lol
I don't want to see any more remakes on the 3DS. It's already become a joke of the platform. I mean, other than Ghost Recon and a couple of other games, the entire 3DS library consists of remakes or slightly tweaked versions of old games.DJ_Lae
Boy, aint that the truth!
I don't want any remakes either. I'm not in any rush to buy a 3DS, not sure if I ever will. There is nothing that I see coming that interests me. Give us new games. New ideas. New genres. Infinite Space part 2 would be cool. A 2D Metroid.....the one they have been hinting at for years would be awesome! I don't need more JRPG's. The DS was overloaded with them. Give us more adventure and strategy games. Give us something fresh.
But, I think it is too risky to do that in today's markets. So.......we get re-heated leftovers of franchises that have been milked until they are dry.
I've just been really slowing down on any current gen and future gen systems. They offer nothing for me. And 3D isn't the gimmick to get me to drop my cash.
Don't mean to be a naysayer, but that is just how I have been feeling for the past 2-3 years.
I definately second the motion of Battlefront 2, that is my favorite shooter of all time. A lot of my choices have been rumored before, but whether they are likely or not, I would love to see them:
Majora's Mask (Haven't played it)
Wind Waker (Haven't played it)
Super Mario Sunshine
3D LttP?
I would also love to see another 3D Mario that takes a lot of inspiration from SMW, like how SM3DL takes a lot from SMB3. That, or a portable Galaxy game. I know 3 Galaxy games, especially in such a short time, seems unnecessary, but ever since I played the first one, I always wanted one that I could take anywhere. Can you imagine space and distant planets in 3D? That would be awesome.
These are the day one buys that I'd like to see with with remastered graphics in 3D and additional content as long as it doesn't delay the development of new titles:
Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker (let Grezzo work on these remakes while Nintendo works on new titles!)
Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask(let Grezzo work on these remakes while Nintendo works on new titles!)
Final Fantasy 6 to 9
Resident Evil 4
Chrono Cross
Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars (let Grezzo work on these remakes while Nintendo works on new titles!)
Gradius III
Gradius V
Super Mario Sunshine(let Grezzo work on these remakes while Nintendo works on new titles!)
Pokemon Grey (not a true remake since it hasn't come out yet, but I'd still like to see it on the 3DS instead of DS! Ruby/Sapphire should be forgotten and burn!)
Hahahaha, nothing but old games on a new handheld. This is all im seeing with the 3DS, old games, Mario games.... What happened to this handheld? What was the point in adding 3D and a camera on it?GhostCrysis
Only old games and Mario games? Really?
The games that are out now on the 3DS (I may miss some out):
Going through that list there really isn't as many old games as people say there are, or any Mario games for that matter.
yeah, but the only thing good is remakes......and next year looks like another year of remakes coming too. (sigh)
Dude most of those games you mentioned, falls into the old games category.
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, The Sims, BlazBlue, Shin Megami Tensei.
As for the rest, they are just terrible.@KnightSkullFirst of all, Shadow Wars was in no way related to any previous Ghost Recon game- Ghost Recon and Advanced Warfighter were both shooter franchises. Shadow Wars is a tactics game. Second, sequels are legitimate fare for a new console, regardless of whether or not you believe so. Third, I didn't know you had played all of the games listed so you could offer an informed opinion on each and every one as being "just terrible." Finally, as someone who has played a number of these games, I can vouch for the fact that even the less respected among them, such as THOR, Samurai Warriors, GR: Shadow Wars are all very worthwhile game experiences. Not to mention upcoming games like Shinobi, Heroes of Ruin, Kid Icarus, Fire Emblem and more. On topic, though I'd like to see a RE:Mercs-style Batman game: combat challenge maps and maybe predator maps compiled into it's own game- with high scores, worldwide leaderboards updated via spotpass, unlocks and other goodies. It would be awesome. Otherwise a 007 Goldeneye64 remake- only tweaking the graphics and animations- like they did with OoT3D. Maybe hire actors to voice the characters.Dude most of those games you mentioned, falls into the old games category.

How do they fall into the old game category? Because they are sequels? Does that mean that any new Mario, Zelda, Kirby, Pokemon or any other game that comes out that is a sequel automatically becomes old?
As for saying the rest are terrible, have you played them all?
No, I didn't think so.
