Resident Evil 2 and 3 remake anyone?

They did the first one for the DS why not do RE 2 and 3 for the 3ds? I'm not usually much for remakes, but RE DS was better than the original version in my opinion(graphics aside). Just imagine Nemesis in 3D O.o. I still shudder when remembering fighting/running from that f*****. Unlikely but still a possibility. Thoughts?

If they're anything like REmake then I'm all for it. Then again an over the shoulders gameplay would still be ok.

I don't see why static backgrounds wouldn't have some kind of depth or placement info for 3D effects. If my new 3DTV was here, I'd gladly test it out if it could support 3D. :D If Capcom really wanted to port REmake to 3DS and had to rebuild those assets in 3D, they could hand it off to that studio who did the Wii RE games. They already have most assets there they could touch up and reuse.

I'd like to see a proper remake done on consoles first, specifically Wii-U.
