Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition something extra in the game find out

UK, April 4, 2007 - After rumours that a Wii version of Resident Evil 4 was appearing on the release schedules of Japanese retailers, the latest issue of Famitsu has confirmed the tittle-tattle and gives a few details about the Wii installment.

Imaginatively titled Bio Hazard 4: Wii Edition, this updated version features new Wiimote-specific controls. These include using the remote to aim weapons, moving the control to reload and using a knife by waggling the controller.

According to Famitsu it also features Ada's missions from Resi 4 on PS2 and comes with a trailer for the upcoming Umbrella Chronicles, which is also on Wii.

I'm totally psyched for this... shooting with the wiimote and stabbing by motion instead of trying to remember a button is going to make the game that much more engrossing!Dust24311

Yea the Wiimote& Nunchuk are perfect for a game like Resi4.

Its $30 bucks are you sure? If it is then my chances of getting this game again just increaed. It comes down to if it offeres more extras then the ps2 version. I already have this game for GC and I have killed it.

Um.. is it a PS2 port?  I doubt that Capcom is actually going to remake the entire game.. but it would be nice.helium_flash

I rather it be a GC port with extra since the GC version looks better.

Good find. I certainly haven't seen those yet. BTW, is it just me, or does it look like in one of those images that Luis is a playable character?

Actually this RE4 port will have all the editions that the Playstation 2 version had, including better visuals-which were better than the GC visuals.  Don't get me wrong, I've only played the GC version and was satisfied with it, so the better visuals will be new to me.Tri-Enforcer
