resident evil 4-handcannon or chicago typewriter?

Right,so i unlocked both,have the infinte rocket launcher already,and im almost at the end of the main game.I just yesterday unlocked my handcannon (damn u bella sisters,lol).Now this is my problem,i have enough money to get only 1,by that i mean fully upgrade my handcannon,or just buy the typewriter,i dont know what to do,lol,since to get the next weapon would probably be halfway through my next playthrough.

So, fully upgrade my handcannon or buy the chicago typewriter?

chicago typewriter is really awesome, but it makes the game waaaay too easy

Get the handcannon. Power it up all the way. 99.0 firepower. 1/2 shots will kill everyone, even most bosses. But it also makes it incredibly easy. Balance it out by beating the game on pro, then get the cannon in that difficulty.
