Aside...I've already played RE5, I want something new, don't you?
just get it for the 360, it would be garbage on the wii. just think of the graphical and technical downgrade it would take to get it on the wii, oh i have to stop or ill vomit.
I haven't played it and I wouldn't mind a Wii version. :?please see the other topics before posting this. I'm not trying to call you out, but there are like a billion topics on this already.

Resident Evil 5 is actually already on the Xbox 360 and PS3, and the control scheme is fine the way it is. It's also specifically made for high definition consoles, so it wouldn't work on the wii without taking a serious hit to the overall quality of the game.
I don't get how people come to the conclusion that Resident Evil 5 would suffer on the Wii in any form, graphicaly or through gameplay. There are so few moments during the game when the screen is littered with zombies, which would be my first thought. That and the best of these moments is towards the beginning of the game when you are trapped in the house. A scenario mighty similar to that in Resident Evil 4 in which you are defending a 2 floor wooden house surrounded by zombies. Proof enough to me that the Wii is capable of replicating these vary scenarios again. Then you have the Mercenaries mode, which in Resident Evil 5 is no more chaotic than that of Resident Evil 4. Nor does it contain a notable increase in zombies. Gaphically, Resident Evil 4 is a beautiful looking game by any standards and so replicating areas of a similar quality wouldn't be a problem either.
The only other issue that comes to mind is the split-screen gameplay, which would probably have to be excluded, unless playing online. Not that it makes the game that much more enjoyable anyway.
^ I've thought about everything you've said before, and it all seems to make sense. Then again I don't know much about the technical aspects of any of the consoles.
But has a "wii version" of any xbox 360/ps3 games been great?
Nice avatar. :PNo, they should make a new Resident Evil for Wii.

Yeah, I'd love to get a lousy port of Resident Evil 5, especially when online co-op is so important, I just love Nintendo's online service so much. NO! I'll just play RE 5 on my 360 and enjoy the The Darkside Chronicles for the Wii (even though I would much rather that be for the PS2 so I could use a lightgun, like the other on rail games for the Wii). hmm a nintendo fan who knows the wii's limits. Awesome!
no... wii is already flooded by RE ports and remakes and re-imaginings... they should make a new one exclusive for wii darkside is not new... it's the same old story of other RE's... i think RE2? and it's on-rails... no a traditional RE game....greenarcher02Yeah are RE game just for wii would be sweet too
