well, i liked umbrella chronicles, but not enough to buy it. i have the same opinion on DSC. i'm liking what i'm seeing, but this looks like a game i'd rent, rather than buy

And yes I'm getting Darkside Chronicles :D maybe scotland has different rules from the rest of europe :lol: well the only videogame that's always with me when i go to europe is my DS so i shouldnt really care about renting abroad :P

the graphics look really good this time around. Of course, in rail shooters, developers have a lot of control over what should be seen and so they can put alot of visual fidelity in there.

Umbrella Chronicles was good, pretty fun. HOD Overkill looks great, lots of fun. Dead Space Extration looks like it just wants a piece of the "rail-shooter sales pie" and Darkside looks like another rail-shooter with better graphics. Needless to say, I'm not interested in it or Extraction.
surprisingly yes I am very interested in it. The game appears as if it is being handled very carefully by the developersbecause they are making sure it gets a lot of things that don't really feel like it would be needed for gamers to pick up the game, but they are stil doing it. Like the Leon and Krauser thing. I don't really think this bit is necassary for the game (it could even be its own game if they wanted) but they are putting it in there anyways.
maybe a rent... I'm not going to pay $50 for a "on-rails" game. Not in a million years! Unless it was the Star Wars Trilogy Arcade game ported over. God, I loved that game!
