theres a couple of games that ive been thinking of getting and then i seen resident eveil for the ds and now i am wondering if it is anygood.please give me feed back on wether i should look into buying it or not.
well...RE: DS made me a Resident Evil fan... now i own the entire collection xD its sweet xD awsome remake and the extre features of the DS makes it even better xD
plays great on the ds as its faster cuz you can finally skip the annoying door opening and closing sequence and the controls are more manageable as compared to the ps1. its not great, its just alright. for me, its not worth buying as it can be completed in three hours tops. plus the graphics are worse on the ds. a playthrough trough the gamecube version and its clear that its leaps and bounds better than it.
I bought it recently, and I'm glad I did. I owned the original PS1 game on the day it launched, and I was glad to see that everything in the DS version was intact, including the FMV sequences and bad voice acting. Not only is RE:DS a trip down memory lane, it's also a very solid game. I'd recommend buying it while you can. Even if you don't like it, hang onto it, because some day you'll be able to sell it on eBay for a good chunk of money.
a great game it workes really well on the d-pad it's about as fluent as the analog stick. it looks just as good as the ps1 version and in some places it looks better. it will last about 5hrs or so 10 if you play both chris and Jill. the first person knife fightes are cool and so are the puzzels. multi player is fun but requiers multi cards. it's a fun game at a good price get it.Â
It's about the same in graphics as the Playstation version, but I found it frustrating that the small screen size made it somewhat difficult to determine how close you are standing to a zombie, making it hard to aim and run around enemies in long range camera shots where onscreen characters are only a few pixels big. Also, the audio quality is pretty poor. Sure the voice acting sounds fine (cheesy as it may be), but the footsteps and gunshots are very low fidelity and get annoying pretty fast. I guess it helps a bit if you turn the volume down, but the sound is still terrible.
thanks everyone i really think im going to buy this game sounds like an awsome game exept for people complaing bout the sound which i dotn listen to cause i usaully play in class :P
