Resident Evil remakes, RE5 and new RE exclusive for Wii?! ***POLL***

Ive only ever played RE4 on Wii, but im hoping that sometime soon theyll bring the old ones back to Wii, so we can experience them with the realistic wii controls of the remote and nunchuck, like as in RE4. I know nothings confirmed or even rumoured at the moment, but Im just wondering what you guys think, do you want remakes of these games exclusively for the Wii?

There has been talk that Capcom is considering making an exclusive Resident Evil for the Wii, or releasing 
Resident Evil 5 on the Wii. I have seen that Capcom listens to petitions  (*link removed by RE4WiiGirl*) and that 
in this link you stated  that if the PSP petition for Resident Evil games  got 10,000 signatures you would pay attention
 to  it. It now has around 32,000 signatures. There is a new petition  (*link removed by RE4WiiGirl*) circulating about
 the release of Resident Evil 5  for the Wii which now has over 35,000 signatures. Will Capcom consider doing something
 about RE5 for  the Wii with the amount of signatures so far? Thanks, Julie

Understand that there has been no announcement concerning Resident Evil 5 coming to the Wii or any development for  
a Resident Evil game on the PSP.  In the event that something comes up we will post it on Capcom Unity.

Ok so i didnt get very far and they didnt comment on the petition, but oh well I tried :)

They already released Resident Evil 1 on Gamecube so if you want to play RE Remake on the Wii just get that game and you're set because that along is the best remake. Resident Evil 2 seriously needs to be remade.Tim_Drake

I know theyre all on on the GameCube. The reason I wanted these on the Wii is so that we can use the new controls with the Wii remote like RE4 on Wii, how it actually feels like your shooting or slicing someone.

Not sure of using the Wii remote for Resident Evil Remake because it was better the way it was, it's totally different gameplay than Resident Evil 4, RE4 fit great with the Wii controls due to its aimming system, but it might not play true to the other RE games which were nothing like RE4.

Let's hope that happens! I'm crossing my fingers because all the good games are coming out for PS3 and 360, Wii needs games like RE5 on its system.

Man just think if they remade Resident Evil 2, and they added all the good stuff that Resident Evil 1.5 had like the extra levels and monsters that game would be game of the year for the Wii.

I would love RE5 and/or the exclusive RE game for Wii, Im just new to the whole RE thing, so having the old games remade for the wii controls would be great so I can learn about the whole RE story too :)

Ya but they were RE made tats why I said only those games would even be acceptable and even then its lame because we havent seen a truely orignal RE on Wii yet.

If they wont do RE5 it would be cool if they did an oldschool RE that takes place during the great depression or around that time. It would be interesting with different weapons and different zombies.

It would take a loooong time for Capcom to remake all of the RE games to run like RE4. I doubt it will ever happen. I do hope for RE5 on the Wii. They ported RE4 to the PS2 and PC, why not make RE5 for the Wii as well. They will only make more money. DJSAV_101

Im hoping if they make a new RE game that I can get into it easily, because ive only played RE4Wii so I dont know much about the whole story of Umbrella and the other characters from previous games. Hopefully if they make a new RE it involves Leon because hes all I really know at the moment, well Ada too I guess.

Any suggestions for the new RE game? Characters, storyline, setting? Ive heard if theres a new game it would be set in Russia to tie in with another RE game but I forget which.

Yes, and they said the could use the RE4 engine, so we will have to see. In any case, they noticed re4 and uc's success, I'm sure they have something planned

well, there are people that think otherwise. I'm not really interested in re2, but re2 with re4 engine, now that's interesting. I didn't like the controls of the past re.

Agree. 2 is definiteley the best, it was the best mix of survival horror and zombie shooting in my opinion. Not so much shooting it felt to actiony, but not so many puzzles it felt like you did nothing else. I'd also like to see an original game for Wii, and I definitely would like it to do RE4's controls but with actual Zombies. If Capcom were to make any zombie game on Wii though I'd rather have Dead Rising, think how awesome that would be with motion controls. They could even give it ps1 graphics I wouldn't care.
