Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles... to buy or not to buy?

I'm a huge fan of Resident Evil but there have been a lot of reports and previews all around that UC isn't all that great. I just watched the latest trailer from Leipzig, showcasing all the dodging and counter attacks but I don't know if this is enough to make me get it. It seems like it could get stale quickly but I'm itching for more RE goodness on the Wii...

graphically, it looks decent - sorta like re4, mayb a bit more variety to the environments.

it supports 2 -player co-op - which my brother and myself will enjoy until we beat it. who knows, we'll try to better our scores and time in the 2nd run.

it explains what happened to umbrella, what wesker is up to, and a bunch of othe runexplained things/events in the re series.

it's a on-rails shooter - unique - and allows to to point and shoot with precision plus features action moves (kick,knife, etc). the only competition it has is ghost squad, but judging by the graphics and pretty dumb ai, i prefer numerous zombies attacking me at a time - requires more skillful aiming and ammo conservation. plus re:uc takes place in dark environments - so ennemies may sup[rise me.

and capcom usually makes quality games, so re;uc prolly won't dissappoint.

Well, people fear change.

Like with RE4, alot of people thought it would suck because it was not like the game's in the series that came before it. But it fared very well, infact it's reguarded by all but the most Hardcore of Purist's as the Best RE game ever.

Im going to Buy it, but not because of it's RE, Becasue im a Fan of Arcade Rail shooters.
