Which one should I get?

I kind of want uc because I like rail shooters but re4 is suposed to be really good. So I don't know.

UC is only $35 right now on amazon.

If you have never played any other version of RE4, then by all means, pick that up. It's only one of the finest games ever made. Otherwise, go for the new stuff and get UC

Personally, I prefer RE4 over UC. However, if you've already played through RE4, then you should probably go with UC. RE4 on the Wii does have the extra content that was added to the PS2 version but wasn't available on the GC version, (and it turns out to be a lot of extra content), the controls are fantastic & the price is definitely right.

UC is decent, but it just felt kind of "meh" to me. It lookes decent graphically, the controls for the most part work well, (but not excellent), & you'll obviously enjoy the story if you dig RE, but it just got kind of old pretty quickly for me, even though it's a pretty long game, (15 hours or so to beat). There's just way too much zombie blasting, (yeah, I know it's RE & there needs to be zombies but it seems like you're just shooting the same zombies over & over for like 80% of the game).

Tough call man.

Well REUC is a re cap of most of the RE games before 4, so i'd say get that first, then RE4.

RE4 is a better game, but they are both good.

I'm kind of leaning towards RE: UC because its a rail shooter and I have a ton of normal fps.

But is it good enough to pick over RE 4.

RE4 > REUC, so RE4 unless you you want to go through previous story lines in REUC.

You should buy both, it will be great if you play first cronicles and after you finished enjoy RE4.

RE:UC is optional but you have to buy RE4. You owe it to yourself and you owe it to me. You will enjoy it and you will thank me for it.

I agree. Buy Umbrella Chronicals for that reason.

RE4 is really fun, and it has more replay value with side missions, and you can play as another character

couldnt agree more.... UC, i played it at my friends house, it is basically just shooting practice lol. It really depends on how good you are with shooting games and using the wiimote. UC is for the less skilled, i think. if you are not that use to FPS and the wiimote, UC is a good start and then RE4 after. But, by far , RE4 is the better game...end of story!

RE4 is one of the best games I've ever played. It is much longer than UC, and you get more bang for you buck. It is also $5 cheaper than UC even with the sale on amazon. This one is a no brainer- RE4. Btw, I hadn't played any Resident Evils when I played RE4, and I was fine.
