I've been thinking, I want a good campaign that will take a long time, without all those random battles and turn-based fights. Since Square practically owns patents on the letters R, P and G, they should have what I'm looking for. What's the best RPG for DS that is not turn-based, not TWEWY or PH?
I have played both. Revenant Wings is much better in my opinion. Better characters, story, gameplay, ect. It is also a longer game. 40 hours or so compared to 15 hours for crystal chronicles.
I say RW. I'm crazy about stylus controlled games like RW, but what I don't like more is having to alternate between stylus and buttons mid game. That's what CC did, hence, I hated. Both games are instense in their own way, but the winning point as pikastar mentioned is the hours. RW can be played longer.
