Im gonna buy the Revolution and the PS3 but which one will I use more probably the only reason im going to buy a PS3 is because it has Blu-ray and I have a huge 106 in widescreen projection screen with a sharp dlp projector to watch those beautiful High Definition discs. But of course the Revolution is going to have better games because its not the same old thing like ps3 and that full cirle thing.  I love Nintendo for always bringing new innovative ways to improve gaming.

There is quite a difference actually, it can record in high-definition which isn't possible normally because of encryption. I think the Playstation 3 will be a very good deal, even if it ships at a crazy price like $700, and I only say that because the standard Blu-ray player will be between $1200 and $1800. But, like the original poster stated, Nintendo will have much better games.. their franchises are just more compelling.

A little off topic but those $1800 Blu-ray players are not regular consumer models. They are aimed at the consumer who buys all high-end electronic equipment. That is why you will see names like Sony ES or Pioneer Elite on the players. They contain all high-end parts so they can show off Blu-ray or HD-DVD in all its glory. Eventually when regular consumer models to come out they most likey will cost around $500. I payed $550 for a DVD player in 1998 and the cheapest model around at that time was an RCA model that went for $400.
