It will be released later this year after the 360 version, but who knows how gimped/not gimped it will be compared to the other versions.

Note: This guitar is from the 360 version, but the Wii one should be very similar.

I'll still be getting GH since I already own the guitar. If this game is worth it, maybe I'll buy it too. That guitar looks awesome.

It's ok, G4 thought that Rock Band Wii was gimped because of the Wii's capabilities, not because it was a port. When did EA get to call the shots of who thought what nowadays?

The interview about the 360 version stated you could use your old peripherals from the original Rock Band, but that hasn't been confirmed for Wii.

They sold the original Rock Band without instruments so why wouldn't they sell Rock Band 2 without instrument? All the instruments from the first game are compatible with the second.

I love how everyone is saying GHIV will better better than RB2 when we have pretty much no information on either. Sounds like everyone is still bitter about getting the low-end version port.

G4, an American TV show previously known as Tech TV, has a show called X-play, which is where the false information is provided.

Here (american access only I believe) is the review, the comment about Wii capability happened at the end of the 6-27-08 episode, which I can't find on the website.

Sorry bout that, I totally misread that. I thought you just forgot the H for GH4, I didn't realize you were talking about the TV network G4. I don't watch that channel.

That travesty of a game called GH3 ruined any interest I once held for the rythm/guitar simulation game. And this is from a guy who can beat every song on GH1 and II on expert (except for Jordan)

Rock Band and whatever, gimped, bush league cash in version of GH they have coming out can burn for all I care.
