I don't know if they'd want to develop a GTA game excusively for the Wii, but I guess it can happen. I'm thinking that they'd rather port over previous versions.
I think the wii might get a GTA exclusive title. It isunable to geta straight port from the GTA games on the other consoles. I just hope that the wii doesn't have to share cross platform status with the psp, unless the psp version is slapped together after the fact and the wii version doesn't have to adjust its version at all

GTA doesn't need GTAIV graphics to be good. Though, I think if it happens it'll be a port from one of the PS2 versions first, cause that's cheap, quick and likely profitable.

You'd be surprised to see how easily brick walls come crashing down, when there is a budle of cash behind it. Personally I dont like GTA, at all. But there is clearly a big upside for Rockstar and Nintendo bybringing the franchise to the Wii.
A GTA game of some kind is bound to happen. Let's think about this logically: -Take-Two (Rockstar's parent publisher) has already been supporting fairly well -Rockstar themselves have 3 games already coming this year alone -Take-Two is always in some sort of financial trouble. The Wii is selling at a ridiculous rate, and the gamers are hungry for more games.
It might be a port, but it's a pretty safe bet that a GTA Wii game is coming.
There are no doubts about a GTA game running on a Wii. If the PS2 can handle it. The Wii can handle it, and probably with better draw distances too! But an exclusive Wii title? Only if the Wii sells 200 units for every single PS3 and 360 sold.
Manhunt may or may not do well. It's a tough call. Most people who own Wii's are, in fact, casual gamers who would be repulsed by it. It will probably do better on the PS2, and then, in turn, wipe out all of Wii's GTA hopes.
