I am guessing that the lack of Xenoblade and The Last Story at E3 means they are not coming out to North America. Great job Nintendo, buy a studio from Namco and screw over a good bit of the Western population. Nintendo could have saved this holiday season by putting out these 2 games, but instead the Wii gets almost nothing outside of Zelda. The kirby game will probably be cool, but it is the same thing we have seen since SNES, so there is no reason to be excited.

Man, don't remind me. The Tales series has been one of my favorites over the years but I've forgotten about it lately because there's not a whole lot to look forward too other than Graces F on PS3 and the POSSIBILITY of Tales of Xillia for PS3. It sucks being unsure though...

Nintendo has stated at E3 that there are still more Wii games coming this year. They haven't made announcements for them, they said they would at a later date.

Perhaps Xenoblade, The Last Story and Pandora's Tower will all get released outside of Japan. Xenoblade already is set for Europe, so there's a chance it'll head to North America too.

Yeah, ToP is my last game as well. I bought it for $7 at Gamestop in April of 2010. I'm almost finished with it but haven't played it in awhile. Great game though.

And you know this how? Once again, you say low sales, but you cannot give us any proof of how this is true in any way.

Well, when is going to be a good enough time for Nintendo to announce it. E3 was a perfect time. Nintendo does not show up at Gamescom or TGS, so is there going to be some type of private announce for these games later on? That is quitle lame. Oh well, whatever, back to other things.

When they see fit, they'll announce it.

They could just announce it out of no where, like they did with Excitebots and Punch-Out!! - We'll see leading up to the Holiday 2011 season.

Or maybe its time to face facts and realize that they aren't coming.

nintendo has done that with a few games this gen so who knows they are ninja's surprising us when we least expect them but if namco does have the rights to xenoblade we may never get it for the past few years they seem really hate bring over games to the west that isn't part of there big name ip's there is always hope for xseed they seem to get rights to japanese games that normally we would never see

That's Nintendo's MO these days. Ignore good core games that are already out, which could easily be localized and just try and push new hardware on us.

Last Story isn't happening, we would know by know if it was being localised and if it hasn't started yet the chances are Wii U will be on the market before that game is. Its a shame because it looks like a brilliant game and I really enjoyed Lost Odyssey.

And you know this how? Once again, you say low sales, but you cannot give us any proof of how this is true in any way.

There are countless examples on the Wii. Look at No Mores Heroes 1 or 2, Little Kings Story, Monster Hunter Tri (outside of Japan) Flingsmash, Exicte Bots, Conduit 2, etc. All of these games were geared to the more serious gamer and none of the sold well although the were all decent games.

These RPGs with arguable less apeal outside of Japan would suffer the same fate

Monster Hunter Tri only sold 200k units less outside of japan than it did inside. Considering how poorly the franchise has done outside of japan in the past, thats pretty damn good :)

No More Heroes is EXTREMELY niche, small wonder it didnt sell well. Flingsmash... wth? Excite Bots is a no name competing against Mario Kart directly, what do you expect? Conduit 2 shouldn't even be on that list, its a crappy game made by a crappy developer with a history of making crappy games, it didnt sell for a reason.

On the other hand, you have games like monster hunter tri, goldeneye 007, epic mickey, and others that were ACTUALLY advertised and supported on the system. The result was million plus sellers. Devs have no one to blame but themselves honestly

EDIT: Not arguing your point btw, I agree that the sales wouldn't be worth bringing them over. Hell, The Last Story tanked IN japan and that was its target audience :P

Monster Hunter Tri sold almost half a million in North America alone. It sold somewhat less than four hundred thousand in Europe. That is not bad for a series that pretty much is a no name game outside of Japan. You do not half to break a million in order to make a profit. No More Heroes 1 sold like three hundred thousand in North America alone. I don't know where you are getting all these poor sales from. No More Heroes 2 probably did worse because it was the first game to come out right after the huge slump of non veteran games. Also, everyone was playing Mario Bros Wii at the time. Fingersmash was a dumb pinball sidescroller game that Nintendo packed in to sell the motion plus. It is not a veteran game at all. Little King's Story is an RTS. RTS games on consoles generally do not sell that well. RTS games sell better on PC. The Conduit 2 did not sell well because the mass does not look to Wii for games anymore since the rumor of Wii U came about. There have not been many releases since Epic Mickey. One game in 3 months is not going to get people interested in the console again. Mortal Kombat and Portal 2 also came out around the same time the Conduit 2 did. Maybe if Nintendo was not so quiet with its releases, the games might sell better. The online also is not that great for the Wii, so obviously people are not going to play a shooter on the system when they can get a better experience some place else.

Your evidence is barely anything at all. You have not even shown any kind of strong inferential evidence to explain explain why Xenoblade or Last Story will fail. The games you mentioned are not even RPG's. Little King's Story does have leveling up, but it is not an RPG. You failed.

Yeah and that's exactly what people want and why they would be excited.
