Considering the info was found in a Japanese newspaper it could be...

Seriously... a camera...? What good would that do? Of course new, creative games could be made using it, but how long could that last?

Has anyone seen MGS Mobile? If you play it with a camera phone you can use the camera to aim your gun by aiming your phone around, and taking pictures of a cetain color would change Snake's camoflage. How many games do you think could possibly implement that before it got old?

Edit: Also, a "digital" camera? Really? I would have thought it used film, lol! ^^

Seems pretty real to me. Source is Nikkei newspaper, they don't make fake news. This will most likely show up during Nintendo's conference next week.

And this is great news for me. I still have the phat and never jumped to the Lite. I really hope those larger screens are true. Lots of pretty games coming (Ninokuni, DQIX & Suikoden to name a few) and it'd be nice playing them on bigger screens.

Someone in Japan found the article in their paper, posted it on the internet, that post got picked up by an English-speaking person, got spread to GoNintendo, was seen by TC and then was linked to you.

Backwards compatibility with the DS and GBA both is kinda a big deal to me. You need the GBA slot to get the starter and legendary pokemon from the GBA pokemon games, otherwise people won't have any access to them on diamond and pearl. Anyway, if it doesn't have them I'll just buy another Lite to be on the safe side - I don't really want to buy another handheld system, this is kinda my last one.

what if it uses the same cart as DS's? so it can still have both slots, or a VC

well i'm really not surprised with the mp3 playback because my ds can play mp3 through micro sd...

but the camera feature i think it's still a little too farfetched....

and the ds would require more space, meaning the ds must expand its size, it won't be lite anymore....
