I remember playing at Shenmue 1 on Dreamcast. It was cool for that time. I don't know if I would get the game. I never played on Shenmue 2.

And if it sold well enough, that might be enough encouragement to give the series another chance (I really think Shenmue and the Wiimote could be a match made in heaven).Just remap the buttons and put it on a 2 disk set for 20 dollars.
It would find a nice following

Well the Shenmue franchise does sell well, Sega just timed it all wrong after the first one.
The first one sold well over a million units. From there on in it was just a mass with the Dreamcast release of 2 and then picking the XBOX over the PS2 to release the game later on with the extra DVD that included all the cutscenes from the first.
I'd like to see Shenmue 3 come to the Wii.
[QUOTE="chansaet"]if it comes they better update the graphics.Jaysonguy
Why?
Why on Earth do you want them to waste the time and money on two games that were great looking games when released?
Becuase the games were on dreamcast. It looked good back then but if you look at it today it would not loook good. Remember this is dreamcast not Xbox, gamecube or even PS2. Dreamcast was the weakest of the systems. And it wont be a waste of time and money. It would make the game better and look and fell new.

They didn't update the graphics for house of the dead 2 and 3 so I don't see any reason they would now, I have the second one on xbox, and it still does look very good.

You do understand that developpers don't have a magic porting button that makes graphics super shiny? I can imagine that rewriting graphics is still tremendous work. The game wouldn't sell more...
That would be frakking incredible.
The original Shenmue on the Dreamcast was one of the greatest gaming experiences of my life, it was such a great game. I picked up the second one for the XBox used, but I never really got into it. I would totally love to see both on the Wii and to see Sega actually finish the story. That's a lot to ask, but I can dream, can't I?
I remember reading an interview with the development team when the first Shenmue came out that it was going to be the first in a 16 part series. I love the first two games and if this does get ported I will be in line on day 1 buying it.That would be frakking incredible.
