Who is excited about this game cause i am cause this time u can tame monsters. What do u guys think of this game just by reading the reviews and watching the gameplay footage?
I imported this and let me tell you, it's great! A nice break from farming but it still has elements from classic Harvest Moon. Can't wait for the English copy so I can understand what they are saying. ;)
I've got Harvest Moon Friends of Mineral town for the GBA and the Import version of rune factory.
the 2 actually are a lot more similiar than you might think. Even though its a spinoff, rune factory has pretty much everything you've always had, the planting of seeds, animals (except instead of buying them, you tame them from the wild), harvest sprites (not really but some monsters can be set to do the watering, some for harvesting etc.), and just about everything you've grown to love. Marriage is also in the game. even the map for the town to the beach will be very familiar.
I'm looking forward to this. I love Harvest Moon, but I have to say the standard HM formula has gotten tired, and they need to find a way to revitalize it. So far their attempts with Save the Homeland and Wonderful Life didn't work. This game looks very promising though, and could mark a change in the series or at least bring some new ideas into the main franchise.
I love HM, all of them. Except for Innocent Life, bleh. I'm also looking forward like mad for Harvest Moon: The Island I grew up on.(Or something like that)
My wife is pulling out her hair because of this game. As for me, I'm curious. I always found Harvest Moon much repetitive, but I think this one will be pretty interesting.
man... i jus went to you tube to check out the game play. its really really nice! looks really fun... im getting the J ver. cant wait for the english ver.
