Sakurai would give some serious thought to another Smash Bros.

I remember when Nintendo announced Brawl and Sakurai was surprised. Then they asked him to make it and he accepted. What are your thoughts on this?

It seems pretty obvious that there will most likely be a Smash Bros. game in the future (on Nintendo's next console, probably) so it'd be good if Sakurai heads it again.

the key thing to remember is that "...if Mr. iwata came to me in a few years time..."

1. Mr. Iwata has to approach.

2. Mr. Iwata has to be interested in making the game.

3. We're going to have to wait at least 3 years (few = 3) before any development begins so don't expect a new Smash Bros. game to be announced tomorrow.

I would welcome a new game with downloadable content so that we can get new characters over time. :)

If you're saying Brawl was disappointing because glitches were missing, then that is epic, epic facepalm.

Well Melee was released 7 years ago in 2001 but only two years after the N64 version which I believe was in 1999 so there really is no way to tell when the next one could be made. In 7 years there will most definitely be a new console and would be awesome if it was a launch game with the hardware.

If they made it more melee esque, I would be all for it.

There needs to be another SMash Bros just to get the online right. Brawl's online has left a bad taste in my mouth and I really would like them to end the series with some decent online.Vriess12
