Have you ever played San Francisco Rush: Extreme Racing when it was for the Arcade, Nintendo 64, and Playstation? You drive through the streets of San Francisco in a hundred miles per hour and often crash on turns and such. So if you want to go to San Francisco again? Well Midway should make a remake of this game for the Wii! Along with the new four player muiltiplayer mode and the new online system! So here's what the should put in the game.

  • An All New Storyline Mode (Plus A New Free Roam Feature)
  • Twenty New Courses
  • Over Fifthty licensed cars!
  • Over 100 ways to customize them!
  • Drive and win in Ciricut Mode!
  • Race freestyle in Free Race!
  • Ton Of Adversitements from Texico to Holiday Inn!
  • Brand New Four Player Muiltiplayer Mode!
  • An All New Online Muiltiplayer Action To Race or Sell Cars or stay tuned to Rush T.V.

Well that's it for this remake! Who wants the remake of this game for the Wii using motion sensing and such.

No, Rush was a terrible series. They did make a new one, and it was laughable. It should just stay dead.

Sorry there, I confused the Crus'n game with the Rush series. That was the new one. Doesn't change the fact that Rush wasn't all that great outside of the arcades.

I see you have a Cruis'n Forum, which was an awful series too. Do you like awful racing games?:|

Those are all your opinions. Just because you two seemed to think those games were awful does not mean that other people thought they were awful. I happen to enjoy the Rush series a lot (I had 2 of the games for N64 and 2049 for Dreamcast, I thought the PSX version was a bad port though). I also thought the Cruis'n games were fun. I would actually like to see a remake of the Rush series that stays true to the original series without trying to change it up to "fit" into the current types of racing games. So just because you two didn't like the series does not mean there wouldn't be enough people that would purchase the game. But I do not think Midway will re-make the game.

I see you have a Cruisn forum...

Any Rush forums? I feel so alone... I remember I unlocked everything (got all the high score too) on the Rush 2049 arcade machine.

Then my arcade closed (I worked there too) and it got sent somewhere else :(.

Well the fourm has been here for months and no one joined. Why Rush is considered to be a bad series? It got good reviews from fans and critics, but sesh!

I'd love to see Rush on the Wii, it's one series I've been wanting to come out on VC for the longest time already. As long as if they stay away from the L.A. Rush crap style I'm good, cuz the Rush series has always been one of my favorite racing games... I was disgusted with L.A. Rush, it was a very dissappointing game. It's about time they bring it back the way it was meant to be...

I loved San Francisco Rush, and Rush 2 improved on it in every way. High flying, high speed action like no other back then. I think maybe Burnout has taken Rush's place in that area since then, but Rush has a certain styIe that I love. Everything from the crashes right down to the "what's your name" song on the high score screen.

Rush was hands down my favorite racing series. The tracks were awesome, the secrets and the intense jumps and explosions. I never played the newest one, I just remember XZIBIT was on the cover threatening to pimp my ride, so I passed it up.

Another pretty cool racing game was Beetle Adventure Racing for N64. There was a TREX on one of the tracks! He didn't do anything..but it was cool.

OH MY GOD.. are you seriously telling me, that san fransisco rush was terrible? Just like the first Parts of the legendary NeedForSpeed Racing - SanFransisco Rush is a very great game - and an awesome FunRacer... In fact - where can you drive the old VW Beetle up to 300 km/h? - Which Game provides beautiful explosions (e.g. the car is falling on the roof) as SanFransisco Rush does it? I got the Nintendo 64 - and i got very much games, but - SERIOUSLY - SanFransiscoRush was the greatest Game of them all. It is just amazing to race against other racers - knowing that an exploding car will be the end of the Race (and of your virtual life!!) Please, Volks - BRING SFR TO THE WIII!! Greetings from Germany PS: I AM GAMESPOT Member since March 2004 - AND THIS IS MY F***ING FIRST POST - SO DON'T TELL ME THAT SAN FRANSISCO RUSH ISN'T IMPORTANT TO ME
