I'm thinking of getting one of these games, but they seem pretty similar IMO. I'm leaning towards the godfather because it's an edition made specifically for the wii with extra features. But can people who've played BOTH games give some comment?
Godfather! No doubt. its longer, and its overall a better game. I own godfather, and i've rented Scarface. Godfather plays better, is longer, and has a better story.

Same here. For some reason those guys at IGN raved Scarface being better. It wasn't. o_0

Scarface to me is an 'immature GTA'. Constant Swearing, unrealistic blowing of heads, arms, etc.. its just stupid.
At least Godfather gives you some sort of realism.
Depends if over the top violence and profanity ala gta appeal to you. If so then Scarface. If you want a deep criminal old fashioned enterprise with lots of intimidation and gaining power then Godfather is for you.
i still havent played godfather for the wii yet but i have scarface and it is awsome if can somehow get twou will not be dissapointed with scarface it is so much fun.

Ive never played either of them.. But when they lower in price i will buyboth at the same time.. I figure that way i can combined them together and it would seem really lengthy :D.
I have played both and i think imo of course that scarface is better. Its more fast pace for me which i like. Scarface will keep you busy for awhile too just like godfather. I will probably buy Godfather down the road but right i'm glad that i bought Scarface instead of Godfather. I would just recommend both games.
