I recently got a 3DS XL. I am very picky (too picky) about scratches, dents, etc.

The other day I noticed a scratch running along the black boarder of the right side of the screen. Since it isn't on the screen, I usually wouldn't care about this, but since it is so new, I cannot stop looking at it.

Is there any way to remove this scratch? If you know of any other methods for matte, black plastic, please help.

Thanks in advance.

Get a black matte skin for it or something.

That's a good idea. I'd perfer some kind of polish though.

It's not too noticable and I doubt anyone who has had their 3DS for more than a month hasn't gotten any scratches. I guess I can get over it.

If there are any ways of removing the scratch that people know of, I'd really like to know though.

Well although my system is brand new I've managed to get a half a centimeter scratch on the face of it. Can't see it while gaming of course, but it's there damn it. I can live with it, but if there was a way to polish it away without ruining the matte surface I might try it out.

I don't want to skin the system, didn't wait this long for a black unit to come out only to cover it with a skin afterwards. My two year old original unit is pretty much scratch free, so I'm kinda bummed I managed to scratch my XL this early.

Edit: I guess I could also geek it out and get a vinyl sticker to cover the scratch.

Scratch it in a few more places, for symmetry.
