screen burn in reduction

i have it on but when i play mario and pause the game for 30 seconds the pause menu stays on my screen for agggess

Sounds liike your TV is just going bad. If it is a problem for things outside the gaming area then it's not an issue with the Wii. I've been playing on an LCD TV as well and haven't had any of these problems. The best bet is to contact Sony.

Yeah, you have a problem with your TV, and it's not from the Wii. I have a plasma TV which is where you really get "burn in" problems, it shouldn't even happen on LCD's. I've never had anything like that happen, even with the pause screen up for several minutes. I agree, contact Sony, that's not good.

Yeah, an LCD tv doesn't have a phosphor display, ie. a CRT or Plasma, and thus it's immune to burn it. Sorry man sounds like you TV is the problem.
